Amy Porter, BA, MPT
Amy graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2014 with a Masters in Physical Therapy, prior to that she completed an Advanced Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the U of M. Since graduating she has completed certification in NDT/Bobath treatment for individuals with hemiplegia.
Amy’s experience includes acute inpatient treatment of children and adults as well as subacute rehab and home therapy. Amy enjoys the challenge and fun of treating kids of all ages; she has experience in a variety of conditions including: Cerebral palsy, Trisomy 21, Developmental delay, Torticollis, Spina bifida, Spinal cord injury, Cystic Fibrosis, and Scoliosis. Amy believes that her clients are people first and she approaches treatment with functional goals in mind that are meaningful to the client and their family.
In her spare time Amy enjoys spin class, jewelry making, and is a cat foster through SCAT!
