Corrie McGinnis BSc Kin, MPT
Corrie is an import from southern Alberta where she grew up just outside of Calgary. She completed her Kinesiology degree here at the University of Saskatchewan, followed up by an advanced certificate in Athletic therapy from Mount Royal University in Calgary. She was then accepted into the MPT program at the University of Saskatchewan and graduated in 2009. She has had the privilege of working as a physiotherapist since that time in a variety of settings. This includes outpatient orthopedics at Saskatoon City hospital specializing in post-operative care, pre-operative education, inpatient care for acute orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as coverage for breast cancer patients. She has had short stints in the private setting and is excited to return.
Her passion lies in trying to help each person figure themselves out and facilitate ways for them to address and manage their respective challenges. She believes firmly in educating clients to the point where they are as knowledgeable about their body as possible to allow for independence and long term success.
When she isn’t working, she is doing her best to keep up with her kids and husband, life is busy and full and she knows how lucky she is.
